Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Enoch Holliday made the kick off which started today's match. Jeramy Langston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Greg Landis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cortland getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Bob Leslie hit a great ball. Enoch Holliday's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ty Yoder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. If Jeramy Langston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Greg Landis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monroe Kirkpatrick in the 13th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Diego Looney sped through Cortland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Greg Landis. In the 22nd minute, Teodoro Chang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Jeramy Langston had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Greg Landis. Cortland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeramy Langston was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 27 played minutes Cortland got a freekick which was hit by Ken Wray. Greg Landis came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Piney's Jeramy Langston. But to his dismay, Jeramy Langston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Diego Looney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Greg Landis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Cortland got a freekick which was hit by Mike Thorne. Greg Landis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Looney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Piney's zone, Enoch Holliday stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ty Yoder came out of the goal and Enoch Holliday tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Monroe Kirkpatrick charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Monroe Kirkpatrick the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Monroe Kirkpatrick kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the match, Ken Wray sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Ty Yoder showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. The supporters of Piney booed when Cortland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Leslie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greg Landis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeramy Langston, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Jeramy Langston made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Piney got a freekick which was hit by Jeramy Langston. The audience was convinced that Enoch Holliday's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ty Yoder was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 56th minute Enoch Holliday shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ty Yoder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Piney's Diego Looney nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Greg Landis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 68 minutes into the match, Cortland's goalkeeper Greg Landis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Looney. After 69 played minutes Cortland got a freekick which was hit by Tyron Uhl. Cortland's Greg Landis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeramy Langston in the 71st minute of play. Ty Yoder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enoch Holliday's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Greg Landis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Looney in the 75th minute. Greg Landis made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Enrique Ball sent off a good shot on target. Ty Yoder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enoch Holliday, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 minutes of play Piney's Monroe Kirkpatrick was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Monroe Kirkpatrick kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Enoch Holliday shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ty Yoder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
