The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Weston Fair's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Oswaldo Sutton firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 4th minute of the match, Brock Busby tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oswaldo Sutton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brock Busby in the 9th minute of play forced Smithtown's goalkeeper Oswaldo Sutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Smithtown's goal looked a bit too open when Brock Busby came free, but Oswaldo Sutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Weston Fair got free with Oswaldo Sutton in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oswaldo Sutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brock Busby, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Weston Fair could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Oswaldo Sutton made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Jed Bright could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Oswaldo Sutton however easily saved by the left post. Oswaldo Sutton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Weston Fair showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Timmy Travis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brock Busby in the 31st minute of play forced Smithtown's goalkeeper Oswaldo Sutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milton Davenport took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Cao Xiao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neal Jacobs lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Smithtown:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of North Marysville:s goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brock Busby was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Weston Fair had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oswaldo Sutton. Smithtown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Weston Fair was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Milan Beasley kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Smithtown defense, Jed Bright kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oswaldo Sutton. The Smithtown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oswaldo Sutton should have stopped the shot. Oswaldo Sutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Weston Fair in the 74th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Smithtown's goal looked a bit too open when Weston Fair came free, but Oswaldo Sutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Smithtown's Oswaldo Sutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brock Busby in the 84th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the North Marysville players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
