Spectators: 7946 (Terracing: 5960, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) After a defensive mix-up in Chick-fil-a's zone, Brock Busby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rex Pearson came out of the goal and Brock Busby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Brock Busby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jed Bright's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rex Pearson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chick-fil-a's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Weston Fair was slow to take the kick. During this time North Marysville's players had a chance to rest. Brock Busby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willis Brandon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brock Busby in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rex Pearson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rex Pearson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brock Busby in the 30th minute of play. Rex Pearson came out of the goal and Lance Browning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Brock Busby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chick-fil-a's Rex Pearson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Weston Fair managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Marysville's supporters rose to their feet, but Weston Fair was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rex Pearson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shannon Ernst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Pearson having to interfere. North Marysville's Lance Browning got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brock Busby in the 46th minute of play forced Chick-fil-a's goalkeeper Rex Pearson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brock Busby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rex Pearson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brock Busby in the 54th minute of the match. Weston Fair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Pearson having to interfere. A collision led to North Marysville getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jed Bright hit a great ball. Rex Pearson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brock Busby in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Chick-fil-a booed when North Marysville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Weston Fair didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Willis Brandon in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milton Davenport saved North Marysville from getting behind. Shannon Ernst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Pearson having to interfere. If Shawn Grover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Chick-fil-a was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trinidad Hopper to maneuver through the defense. Rex Pearson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milan Beasley, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Jed Bright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded North Marysville left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chick-fil-a.
