Lorenzo Naylor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Greg Landis having to make a save. If Parker Yu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Enoch Holliday got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Cortland's Laurence Zamora nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Palmer Cassidy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Parker Yu was the one to do the kick off. When Enoch Holliday came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Cortland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enoch Holliday couldn't finish the play. Laurence Zamora succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 77th playminute. After a rather tough play, ValldHebron's Ryan Buck got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Enoch Holliday sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Enoch Holliday made a precise shot to the right of Palmer Cassidy. ValldHebron's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 91st minute, ValldHebron's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enoch Holliday fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Greg Landis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Tucker in the 94th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Eddy Tucker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Greg Landis was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
