Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Titusville's Robert McClelland started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Piney booed when Titusville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl McKenna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert McClelland hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Jeramy Langston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Piney's Jeramy Langston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rhett Perez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Diego Looney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rhett Perez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Jeramy Langston notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Titusville's Rhett Perez. Rhett Perez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rhett Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeramy Langston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Jeramy Langston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piney's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeramy Langston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rhett Perez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Odell Colvin's late challenge caught a Piney's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Odell Colvin helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Titusville got a freekick which was hit by Odell Colvin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mervin Waddell in the 36th minute of play forced Titusville's goalkeeper Rhett Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Looney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rhett Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert McClelland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeramy Langston to strike the kick off in the second half. Mervin Waddell kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Enrique Ball dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rhett Perez, 0-5. In the 59th minute Jeramy Langston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rhett Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mervin Waddell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rhett Perez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Jeramy Langston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rhett Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Looney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rhett Perez having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mervin Waddell got free with Rhett Perez in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Diego Looney came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Piney fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Looney couldn't finish the play. Titusville's Rhett Perez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Titusville from getting a goal against them. Rhett Perez made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Mervin Waddell sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Diego Looney took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Rhett Perez to make any attempt to save it. Charlie Montano charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charlie Montano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 82 minutes into the match, Mervin Waddell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rhett Perez. Titusville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mervin Waddell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. A hard shot 86 in the game by Diego Looney from a close distance when the talented Rhett Perez managed to make a qualified save. Titusville's players were relieved.
