Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tommie Medley kicked off to start the match. Darrell Curran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommie Medley in the 7th minute of play. Lazaro Ruth's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Rex Pearson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 12th minute, Tommie Medley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Randy Bynum charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Randy Bynum the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Randy Bynum kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Chick-fil-a's goal looked a bit too open when Lazaro Ruth came free, but Rex Pearson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Bartonville were awarded a corner. Lazaro Ruth went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Chick-fil-a's goalie and right to Jessie Sosa. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Chick-fil-a's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Wendell Whitfield could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Rex Pearson made a huge save. Darrell Curran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willis Brandon in the 34th minute of play. The nice shot from Wendell Whitfield in the 35thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Rex Pearson had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Wendell Whitfields short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Rex Pearson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 39 minutes into the match, Chick-fil-a's goal looked a bit too open when Lazaro Ruth came free, but Rex Pearson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chick-fil-a's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Lazaro Ruth scored to the left of an out of position Rex Pearson, making the score, 2-0. A hard shot 46 in the game by Wendell Whitfield from a close distance when the talented Rex Pearson managed to make a qualified save. Chick-fil-a's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Rex Pearson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lazaro Ruth, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Bartonville's Darrell Curran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Bartonville from getting a goal against them. Darrell Curran made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Willis Brandon sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Kitchen during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Norbert Kitchen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chick-fil-a's Solomon Woodall shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Darrell Curran but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Wendell Whitfield managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bartonville's supporters rose to their feet, but Wendell Whitfield was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rex Pearson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the game, Daren Cavazos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bartonville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chick-fil-a the free kick. Daren Cavazos hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Rex Pearson came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Bartonville's Lazaro Ruth. But to his dismay, Lazaro Ruth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 82nd minute of the match, Tommie Medley tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Darrell Curran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rex Pearson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wendell Whitfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Tommie Medley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Darrell Curran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Bartonville were the better team. Bartonville's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
