Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 85) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jed Bright made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Benedict Massey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pingyu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedict Massey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Milton Davenport breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shawn Grover kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Darnell Bowling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Milton Davenport tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ben Stoddard kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ben Stoddard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 minutes of play, Pingyu FC's Curt Bergstrom made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Milton Davenport was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Curt Bergstrom in the 25th minute of play forced North Marysville's goalkeeper Milton Davenport to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elijah Spivey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th match minute, Pingyu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedict Massey to maneuver through the defense. North Marysville's Shannon Ernst shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Robin Henley but with some difficulty. Robin Henley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jed Bright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pingyu FC's Robin Henley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jed Bright in the 36th minute of play. Elijah Spivey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Weston Fair's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Robin Henley skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Elijah Spivey made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, North Marysville's goal looked a bit too open when Elijah Spivey came free, but Milton Davenport reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ben Stoddard hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Weston Fair, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Weston Fair's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robin Henley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Winford Messer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darnell Bowling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Benedict Massey came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Pingyu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedict Massey couldn't finish the play. After 72 minutes, Shawn Grover mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Marysville and the Pingyu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Shawn Grover hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pingyu FC's Robin Henley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weston Fair in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, North Marysville's goal looked a bit too open when Elijah Spivey came free, but Milton Davenport reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of North Marysville:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pingyu FC:s goal. Elijah Spivey shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Milton Davenport showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elijah Spivey in the 81st minute of the match. After 83rd play minutes Curt Bergstrom shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Milton Davenport and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 89th minute Shannon Ernst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Henley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Weston Fair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darnell Bowling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Davenport having to interfere.
