Rex Pearson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Benedict Massey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Don Pruett was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 34 minutes, Pingyu FC's Elijah Spivey got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rex Pearson. The crowd rose to their feet as Pingyu FC's Elijah Spivey slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rex Pearson. That made the score 5-0 after 38 minutes of play. Jack Kincaid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Chick-fil-a's goal looked a bit too open when Elijah Spivey came free, but Rex Pearson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedict Massey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes, Timmy Nixon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chick-fil-a and the Pingyu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Curt Bergstrom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rex Pearson was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 69thth minute of the game Curt Bergstrom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chick-fil-a's Rex Pearson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Darnell Bowling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elijah Spivey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Pearson having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Darnell Bowling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pingyu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darnell Bowling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the game, Jack Kincaid cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Rex Pearson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ben Stoddard struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Rex Pearson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pingyu FC. Darnell Bowling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Pearson having to interfere. Darnell Bowling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Pingyu FC's Darnell Bowling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rex Pearson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. 91 minutes into the match, Chick-fil-a's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Kincaid came free, but Rex Pearson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Darnell Bowling came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Pingyu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darnell Bowling couldn't finish the play. Benedict Massey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Pearson having to interfere. Rex Pearson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedict Massey's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Pingyu FC were the better team. Pingyu FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
