Spectators: 6335 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 85) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tommie Medley started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Weston Fair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milton Davenport stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommie Medley's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Rex Pearson made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Weston Fair sent off a good shot on target. Trinidad Hopper's late challenge caught a North Marysville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trinidad Hopper helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chick-fil-a getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Trinidad Hopper hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shawn Grover in the 18th minute of play forced Chick-fil-a's goalkeeper Rex Pearson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rex Pearson made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Brock Busby sent off a good shot on target. North Marysville's Brock Busby got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Rex Pearson managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when North Marysville's Brock Busby fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Milton Davenport showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willis Brandon, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Willis Brandon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brock Busby to strike the kick off in the second half. North Marysville's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Willis Brandon scored to the left of an out of position Milton Davenport, making the score, 0-1. Brock Busby hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Milton Davenport took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommie Medley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. North Marysville's Milton Davenport played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommie Medley in the 65th minute of play. North Marysville's Shannon Ernst got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70thth minute of the game Brock Busby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chick-fil-a's Rex Pearson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When North Marysville's Weston Fair in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chick-fil-a's goalie prevented a goal. Trinidad Hopper kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Chick-fil-a's Rex Pearson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shawn Grover in the 77th minute of play. Milan Beasley lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for North Marysville! After 82 played minutes Chick-fil-a got a freekick which was hit by Don Pruett. When Shannon Ernst came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the North Marysville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shannon Ernst couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see North Marysville lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
