Spectators: 6832 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tommie Medley took the kick off in the first half of the match. Chick-fil-a's Tommie Medley got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the game, Timmy Nixon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chick-fil-a's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Iberia AFC the free kick. Timmy Nixon kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. When Tommie Medley came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Chick-fil-a fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommie Medley couldn't finish the play. Chick-fil-a's Tommie Medley got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Willis Brandon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joe Bowser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Randell Dalton hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Willis Brandon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Bowser having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sterling McCain to make the kick off. Sterling McCain took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rex Pearson. Rex Pearson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 57 played minutes New Iberia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Scotty Whaley. When Don Pruett fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chick-fil-a's protests and gave Don Pruett a yellow card for diving instead. Don Pruett hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The supporters of Chick-fil-a booed when New Iberia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sterling McCain didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Tommie Medley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chick-fil-a's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommie Medley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommie Medley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Bowser having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Chick-fil-a's Willis Brandon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joe Bowser narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Chick-fil-a's Don Pruett got a free kick in the 88th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chick-fil-a fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! Julio Crews's late challenge caught a Chick-fil-a's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Crews helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Julio Crews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willis Brandon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Bowser having to interfere. The New Iberia AFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
