Eddy Tucker charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eddy Tucker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes ValldHebron got a freekick which was hit by Eddy Tucker. Timmy Travis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Palmer Cassidy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timmy Travis in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Palmer Cassidy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7thth minute of the game Joseph Cao Xiao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ValldHebron's Palmer Cassidy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Kip Benjamin came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Smithtown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kip Benjamin couldn't finish the play. Palmer Cassidy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kip Benjamin in the 11th minute of the match. When Kip Benjamin came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Smithtown fans jumped to their feet. Palmer Cassidy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smithtown. Timmy Travis took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Palmer Cassidy. Palmer Cassidy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 21st minute, Reed Rhodes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ValldHebron booed when Smithtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Al Schmitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Ari Rivas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oswaldo Sutton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Smithtown's goalkeeper Oswaldo Sutton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lorenzo Naylor. ValldHebron's Palmer Cassidy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neal Jacobs in the 30th minute of play. After 35 played minutes ValldHebron got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Naylor. Palmer Cassidy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kip Benjamin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Parker Yu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Sutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Kip Benjamin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Smithtown's Neal Jacobs got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Joseph Cao Xiao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oswaldo Sutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Parker Yu in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Parker Yu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Sutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to Smithtown's Noah Willingham getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timmy Travis got free with Palmer Cassidy in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Palmer Cassidy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neal Jacobs in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cory Abel in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Kip Benjamin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Palmer Cassidy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Naylor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ValldHebron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Smithtown the free kick. After a rather tough play, ValldHebron's Lorenzo Naylor got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Smithtown left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ValldHebron.
