Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brett Kohler took the kick off in the first half of the match. Greg Landis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brett Kohler in the 4th minute of play. Marshall Tanner made in the 5th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ellsworth South FC's Donny Small. If Brett Kohler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Brett Kohler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Greg Landis. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. After 18 played minutes Brett Kohler rounded Cortland's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Enoch Holliday ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kris Westbrook was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enoch Holliday in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kris Westbrook saved Ellsworth South FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enoch Holliday in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kris Westbrook prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, Ellsworth South FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Chang came free, but Kris Westbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Chang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kris Westbrook was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Art Christie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mckinley Cottrell kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When Enoch Holliday got free in front of the goal in the 42nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Kris Westbrook was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Kris Westbrook showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enoch Holliday in the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Brett Kohler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ellsworth South FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Enoch Holliday made the kick off in the second half. Greg Landis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brett Kohler in the 57th minute of play. Enoch Holliday didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-2 via right post in the game's 58th minute. Cortland's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 62 played minutes Ellsworth South FC got a freekick which was hit by Winford Goff. Winford Goff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Greg Landis having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enoch Holliday in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kris Westbrook prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kris Westbrook made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enoch Holliday in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Ellsworth South FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Donny Small hit a great ball. Enoch Hollidays short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Kris Westbrook to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ken Wray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Kris Westbrook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Teodoro Chang came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Cortland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Chang couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 85 in the game by Enoch Holliday from a close distance when the talented Kris Westbrook managed to make a qualified save. Ellsworth South FC's players were relieved. Greg Landis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brett Kohler, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ellsworth South FC's Kris Westbrook played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enoch Holliday in the 91st minute of play. After 94 minutes of play Ellsworth South FC's Winford Goff was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 95 played minutes Ellsworth South FC got a freekick which was hit by Winford Goff. After 97 minutes, Art Christie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ellsworth South FC and the Cortland players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th minute, Art Christie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Ellsworth South FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Luciano Storr hit a great ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ellsworth South FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Cortland for much of the match.
