The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Winfred Keenan kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Darrel Milton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dwayne Beatty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Pulaski's Dwayne Beatty got control of the ball when Whitney Hansen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pulaski's Dwayne Beatty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darrel Milton in the 25th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Pulaski's goal looked a bit too open when Darrel Milton came free, but Dwayne Beatty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led The Vasquitos's Woody Benton to fire away a dangerous shot which Dwayne Beatty despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Berry Aviles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd minute Darrel Milton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dwayne Beatty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Darrel Milton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Winfred Keenan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dwayne Beatty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Whitney Hansen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to The Vasquitos getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Woody Benton hit a great ball. Dwayne Beatty came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by The Vasquitos's Darrel Milton. But to his dismay, Darrel Milton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Berry Aviles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Whitney Hansen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Vasquitos made a substitution.
