Dwayne Beatty made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 39 minutes, Wendell Buchanan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pulaski and the Germantown players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, one of Pulaski:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pulaski. Mervin Shipley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dwayne Beatty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dwayne Beatty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Holt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Virgil Holt made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Germantown's goal looked a bit too open when Winfred Keenan came free, but Jason Kauffman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgil Holt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dwayne Beatty having to interfere. Dwayne Beatty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Holt in the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Germantown booed when Pulaski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terry Root didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Pulaski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milo Daugherty to maneuver through the defense. Jason Kauffman made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Jerrod Foreman sent off a good shot on target. After 94 minutes of play, Germantown's Virgil Holt made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dwayne Beatty was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Pulaski players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Germantown.
