With a little luck, FAIR PLAY MZ's Roberto Alston got control of the ball when Brock Pritchard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zachery Henderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the game, Zachery Henderson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Elias Hearn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in FAIR PLAY MZ's zone, Brock Pritchard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Alston came out of the goal and Brock Pritchard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the FAIR PLAY MZ defense, Brock Pritchard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Alston. The FAIR PLAY MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Alston should have stopped the shot. Mama al Rescate's Guy Avery got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elias Hearn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Bocanegra, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Brock Pritchard kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes, FAIR PLAY MZ's Wes Spivey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elias Hearn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FAIR PLAY MZ reached it. Elias Hearn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre Bocanegra, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 45th minute of the match, Brock Pritchard got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roberto Alston was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pierre Bocanegra was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Mama al Rescate's zone, Pierre Bocanegra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Hearn came out of the goal and Pierre Bocanegra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roberto Alston didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brock Pritchard went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Zachery Henderson might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Hearn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zachery Henderson ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Mama al Rescate getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Tim Yang hit a great ball. In the 74th minute Pierre Bocanegra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Hearn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Hearn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Bocanegra in the 79th minute of play. Zachery Henderson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Hearn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brock Pritchard in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Alston saved FAIR PLAY MZ from getting behind. After a rather tough play, FAIR PLAY MZ's Billy Ryan got a free kick in the 88th minute. Tuan Carrillo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
