Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ridgeway's Karl Owens started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Ridgeway's Rashad Mosley got a free kick in the 4th minute. Mervin Shipley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vince Michel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jason Kauffman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Bannister in the 12th minute of play. In the 19th minute Vince Michel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Kauffman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germantown's Jason Kauffman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Benavides in the 20th minute of play. If Mervin Shipley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garret Friedman kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With his leg Jorge Jewell managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Germantown's Mervin Shipley fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mervin Shipley scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Jewell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 38 minutes, Wilson Benavides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ridgeway and the Germantown players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Ridgeway got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Benavides. Virgil Holt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Jewell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Mervin Shipley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgil Holt was the one to do the kick off. Rashad Mosley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jason Kauffman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Germantown got a freekick which was hit by Stanton Moon. Mervin Shipley might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Jewell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mervin Shipley ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the game, Karl Owens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jason Kauffman. Karl Owens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Germantown's Jason Kauffman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rashad Mosley in the 72nd minute of play. Stanton Moon kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. With his leg Jason Kauffman managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Ridgeway's Vince Michel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vince Michel got free with Jason Kauffman in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stanton Moon hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Jason Kauffman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vince Michel in the 86th minute. With a little luck, Germantown's Jason Kauffman got control of the ball when Vince Michel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Germantown's goalkeeper Jason Kauffman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilson Benavides.
