Hawkinsville's Jefferson Winter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kirby Stafford in the 4th minute of play. Ernesto Huff was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Monroe Dyer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Alistair Thomson made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Willie Jenkins. If Willie Jenkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LinkyBoy FC's Ernesto Huff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save LinkyBoy FC from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, LinkyBoy FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Huff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Monroe Dyer. A collision led to LinkyBoy FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Kirby Stafford hit a great ball. LinkyBoy FC's Ernesto Huff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save LinkyBoy FC from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the match, Kirby Stafford had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson Winter. Hawkinsville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kirby Stafford was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Willie Jenkins to make the kick off. If Johnny Ludwig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Huff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willie Jenkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Johnny Ludwig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Huff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monroe Dyer in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by LinkyBoy FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Willie Jenkins was slow to take the kick. During this time Hawkinsville's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, LinkyBoy FC's Gilbert Shelton got a free kick in the 61st minute. Kirby Staffords short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Jefferson Winter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Logan Allison made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LinkyBoy FC's Willis Odell. In the 68th minute Willis Odell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Winter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute Monroe Dyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Huff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kirby Stafford kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. With a little luck, Hawkinsville's Jefferson Winter got control of the ball when Kirby Stafford tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernesto Huff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johnny Ludwig went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Johnny Ludwig kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Willis Odell managed to get in a good position for a shot. LinkyBoy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Willis Odell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jefferson Winter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, LinkyBoy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Monroe Dyer came free, but Ernesto Huff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Hedrick got a throw-in 90 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Monroe Dyer. Ernesto Huff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monroe Dyer in the 93rd minute of play. Jefferson Winter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monte Ambriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hawkinsville were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of LinkyBoy FC for a fine match.
