Malakas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Blaine Tyler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Haynes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 4 played minutes Los Americans FC got a freekick which was hit by Olin McRae. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Neil Pierre in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Haynes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 1-0 became the score in the 15th minute when Sammy Beach elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neil Pierre in the 21st minute of play forced Los Americans FC's goalkeeper Eric Haynes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sammy Beach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Landon Puckett having to interfere. In the 31st minute of the match Rodger Waldron shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Landon Puckett showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Neil Pierre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eric Haynes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neil Pierre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Haynes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Landon Puckett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo McKinley showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 40 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo McKinley to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Malakas FC's goalkeeper Landon Puckett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Landon Puckett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo McKinley in the 72nd minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, Los Americans FC's Edmundo McKinley made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Landon Puckett was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Malakas FC booed when Los Americans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olin McRae didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sammy Beach struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Landon Puckett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Americans FC. In the 88th minute Sammy Beach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Landon Puckett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Blaine Tyler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malakas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blaine Tyler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eric Haynes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blaine Tyler in the 91st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Americans FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Malakas FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
