After having played for 9 minutes, Boyd Boyer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Smithfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boyd Boyer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Stacy Novak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sporting Kay Cee's Glenn Rubio got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Boyd Boyer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stacy Novak struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Sol Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Kay Cee. 35 minutes into the match, Milton Romero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sol Ortiz. Smithfield's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milton Romero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Milton Romero put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sol Ortiz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Val Flood in the 42nd minute of play forced Sporting Kay Cee's goalkeeper Nick Calderwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nick Calderwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyd Boyer in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Sporting Kay Cee's goal looked a bit too open when Val Flood came free, but Nick Calderwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sol Ortiz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Milton Romero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The wind increased when Boyd Boyer made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Stacy Novak made a precise shot to the right of Sol Ortiz. Smithfield's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Mason Collins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Nick Calderwood made a huge save. Val Flood's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nick Calderwood read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Stacy Novak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sol Ortiz having to interfere. Smithfield's Sol Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milton Romero in the 67th minute of play. Ronnie Harrison hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sporting Kay Cee fully deserved thier win.
