The Millersville AFC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Millersville AFC's Danny Vargas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. D.J. Hargrove came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Millersville AFC's Danny Vargas. But to his dismay, Danny Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Tracy Walls showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brice Waller in the 25th minute of the match. D.J. Hargrove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Vargas in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Strathmore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Lane to maneuver through the defense. Danny Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hargrove didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Millersville AFC. D.J. Hargrove stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danny Vargas's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brice Waller to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilfred Pruitt during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Strathmore getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Wilfred Pruitt hit a great ball. Danny Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Strathmore's D.J. Hargrove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosario Vigil in the 66th minute of play. Strathmore were furious when Oscar McRae was red carded, 67 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Strathmore getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Oscar McRae hit a great ball. D.J. Hargrove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Wynn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimmy Parra hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. D.J. Hargrove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincenzo Price in the 72nd minute of the match. Jimmy Parra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Diego Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Millersville AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Valentin couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Preston Horner in the 81st minute of play forced Millersville AFC's goalkeeper Tracy Walls to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Millersville AFC's Tracy Walls played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duke Kinsey in the 84th minute of play. Jimmy Parra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tracy Walls having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Strathmore's A.J. Butler got a free kick in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Millersville AFC's Kurt Wynn broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jimmy Parra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Tracy Walls tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Rosario Vigil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Millersville AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Millersville AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
