Gerardo Estebano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Barnes in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Rolland Lindsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Estebano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. México FC's Gerardo Estebano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolland Lindsey in the 20th minute of play. Gerardo Estebano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolland Lindsey in the 22nd minute of the match. When FC FORTUNA's Rolland Lindsey, in the 28th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for FC FORTUNA. With a little luck, FC FORTUNA's Sidney Orozco got control of the ball when Sidney Chapman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sidney Orozco made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Sidney Chapman sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the match, FC FORTUNA's goalkeeper Sidney Orozco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sidney Chapman. Gerardo Estebano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolland Lindsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sidney Chapman to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Chapman in the 52nd minute of play forced FC FORTUNA's goalkeeper Sidney Orozco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Sidney Chapman in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 55 played minutes México FC got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Chapman. Clayton Carrey hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Sidney Chapman fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored México FC's protests and gave Sidney Chapman a yellow card for diving instead. When Rolland Lindsey came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the FC FORTUNA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolland Lindsey couldn't finish the play. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for México FC! Rolland Lindsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gerardo Estebano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abe Herndon kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, George Albrecht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Theodore Stiles came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the México FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theodore Stiles couldn't finish the play. Gerardo Estebano made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Eric Shirley sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, México FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clayton Carrey came free, but Gerardo Estebano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FC FORTUNA's Rolland Lindsey slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerardo Estebano. That made the score 0-2 after 92 minutes of play. Orlando Barnes hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidney Chapman in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidney Orozco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The México FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC FORTUNA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
