Aaron Vogt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Delgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Riggs during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, George Riggs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Johnson Lane's goalkeeper Aaron Vogt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Maloney. In the 21st minute, Anabola Pojkarna's Virgilio Delgado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With an all-out effort, Anabola Pojkarna's Aaron Vogt threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alberto Ryan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Osvaldo Maloney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Aaron Vogt made a huge save. Aaron Vogt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvaldo Maloney in the 29th minute. Evan Campbell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Aaron Vogt made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taylor Rivas in the 35th minute of play forced Anabola Pojkarna's goalkeeper Rodrick Braun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taylor Rivas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrick Braun having to make a save. Taylor Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrick Braun having to interfere. Aaron Vogt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Delgado in the 43rd minute of play. Johnson Lane's Aaron Vogt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Johnson Lane from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Rodrick Braun was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Taylor Rivas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Taylor Rivas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. When Everett Gilmore fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Johnson Lane's protests and gave Everett Gilmore a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Everett Gilmore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Johnson Lane getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Rob Nunn hit a great ball. Taylor Rivas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Damon Lehman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anabola Pojkarna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Taylor Rivas scored to the left of an out of position Rodrick Braun, making the score, 2-2. In the 93rd minute Jefferson Hickman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Vogt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Johnson Lane's Dante Reeder seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dante Reeder the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Johnson Lane protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dante Reeder had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 95th minute, Dante Reeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
