Spectators: 7450 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rolland Lindsey got the match started through his kick off. Orlando Barnes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 11th playminute. In the 15th minute Jeff Brannon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Nos Animadverto Totus's Gordon Duffy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sidney Orozco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Rolland Lindsey took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Teodoro Skinner to make any attempt to save it. In the 24th minute, Jeff Brannon made a precise shot to the right of Sidney Orozco. FC FORTUNA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Sidney Orozco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Stinson in the 28th minute of play. If Orlando Barnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Nos Animadverto Totus got a freekick which was hit by Stan Ivey. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stan Ivey in the 38th minute of play forced FC FORTUNA's goalkeeper Sidney Orozco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gordon Duffy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sidney Orozco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeff Brannon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeff Brannon made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeff Brannon got free with Sidney Orozco in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Nos Animadverto Totus booed when FC FORTUNA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolf Kane didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, King Stinson took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Sidney Orozco to make any attempt to save it. After 69 minutes, Abraham McKay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC FORTUNA and the Nos Animadverto Totus players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Abraham McKay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74thth minute of the game Rolland Lindsey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nos Animadverto Totus's Teodoro Skinner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeff Brannon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Orozco having to interfere. In the 91st minute Jeff Brannon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolland Lindsey might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodoro Skinner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolland Lindsey ran back to his position shaking his head. The Nos Animadverto Totus supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nos Animadverto Totus would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
