Strathmore's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Strathmore's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Eddy came free, but D.J. Hargrove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Billy Jenkins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of D.J. Hargrove. Strathmore's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Billy Jenkins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 21 played minutes Strathmore got a freekick which was hit by Duke Kinsey. A.J. Butler kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Robert Eddy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. D.J. Hargrove tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Robert Eddy came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Childersburg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Eddy couldn't finish the play. Duke Kinsey hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Robert Eddy took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised D.J. Hargrove. D.J. Hargrove dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Preston Horner struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Donald Brandt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strathmore. Robert Eddy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without D.J. Hargrove having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Brice Waller made the kick off in the second half. When Billy Jenkins came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Childersburg FC fans jumped to their feet. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Childersburg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Preston Horner came free, but Donald Brandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Preston Horner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Brandt having to interfere. Brice Waller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Brandt having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Preston Horner in the 73rd minute of play forced Childersburg FC's goalkeeper Donald Brandt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milton Saldana hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Donald Brandt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brice Waller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josef Dozier hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Donald Brandt came out of the goal and Brice Waller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronald Connolly thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Donald Brandt, a very annoying self made goal in the 90th minute which led to 1-2. Milton Saldana struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. D.J. Hargrove didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Childersburg FC.
