Vernon Shipp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Aaron Vogt made a huge save. México FC's George Albrecht got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Taylor Rivas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Johnson Lane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave México FC the free kick. Taylor Rivas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Johnson Lane's zone, Sidney Chapman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Vogt came out of the goal and Sidney Chapman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aaron Vogt made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Sidney Chapman sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of México FC booed when Johnson Lane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taylor Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theodore Stiles was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sidney Chapman in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aaron Vogt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sidney Chapman was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Johnson Lane booed when México FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Albrecht didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, México FC's Gerardo Estebano got control of the ball when Desmond Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Theodore Stiles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Vogt having to interfere. Taylor Rivas hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Johnson Lane's Aaron Vogt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodore Stiles in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, México FC's goalkeeper Gerardo Estebano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Desmond Garcia.
