In the 46th minute, Preston Horner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sidney Orozco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brice Waller was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, FC FORTUNA's goal looked a bit too open when Brice Waller came free, but Sidney Orozco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the game's 87th minute FC FORTUNA's Abraham McKay took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of D.J. Hargrove and thus the score was 1-2. Wilfred Pruitt's late challenge caught a FC FORTUNA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clayton Carrey hit a great ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
