In the 19th minute Pascal Alston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duncan Hawley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quincy Miles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Donald Brandt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antoine Gale's late challenge caught a Childersburg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antoine Gale helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Antoine Gale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wiley Buddle was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CARCAMO FC! In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Childersburg FC. Kraig Hufnagel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Duncan Hawley. 2-2. After having played for 33 minutes, Quincy Miles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CARCAMO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quincy Miles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Billy Jenkins was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Oswaldo Stewart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CARCAMO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oswaldo Stewart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kermit Cardwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Brandt having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Eddy got free with Duncan Hawley in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Avery Irwin kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Isaiah Abraham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Childersburg FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Milton Saldana hit a great ball. Duncan Hawley was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Josef Dozier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Josef Dozier really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. In the 69th match minute, Childersburg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kraig Hufnagel to maneuver through the defense. CARCAMO FC's Duncan Hawley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save CARCAMO FC from getting a goal against them. If Kermit Cardwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Xavier Cutler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kermit Cardwell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donald Brandt having to make a save. Kermit Cardwell struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Donald Brandt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CARCAMO FC. The CARCAMO FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Childersburg FC to win.
