After 3 minutes of play, Power Soccer Best Club's Rolland Pike made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donald Brandt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kerry Agoos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Kerry Agoos put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Donald Brandt. In the 11thth minute of the game Kerry Agoos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Childersburg FC's Donald Brandt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Milton Saldana hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Kerry Agoos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Power Soccer Best Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Kerry Agoos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donald Brandt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kerry Agoos in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donald Brandt saved Childersburg FC from getting behind. Kerry Agoos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Brandt having to interfere. Pascal Alston's late challenge caught a Power Soccer Best Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascal Alston helped the player get up and apologised. Pascal Alston hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Rolland Pike came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Power Soccer Best Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolland Pike couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Childersburg FC's goalkeeper Donald Brandt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Kerry Agoos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donald Brandt was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Childersburg FC's Kraig Hufnagel got a free kick in the 27th minute. Donald Brandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Griffin in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Jenkins in the 30th minute of play forced Power Soccer Best Club's goalkeeper Ken Givens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kerry Agoos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donald Brandt having to make a save. In the 34th minute Rolland Pike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donald Brandt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kerry Agoos took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donald Brandt. Donald Brandt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. A collision led to Childersburg FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Milton Saldana hit a great ball. Mark Griffin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Donald Brandt. Childersburg FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Robert Eddy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ken Givens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Kerry Agoos put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Donald Brandt. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Thurman Cash charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thurman Cash hit a great ball. Kraig Hufnagel, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Donald Brandt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kerry Agoos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Robert Eddy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ken Givens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Billy Jenkins took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ken Givens. Ken Givens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Rolland Pike sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
