The wind increased when Billy Jenkins made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Johnson Lane's Damon Lehman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. If Desmond Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnson Lane's Desmond Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aaron Vogt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Jenkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Rob Nunn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Johnson Lane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Childersburg FC the free kick. The supporters of Childersburg FC booed when Johnson Lane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rob Nunn didn't get a good kick on the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Johnson Lane reached it. In the 91st minute, Pascal Alston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aaron Vogt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milton Saldana in the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over Childersburg FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Johnson Lane throughout the match.
