Spectators: 7979 (Terracing: 5985, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Flint Blanco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Phil Irwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Colby Hemphill made a huge save. In the 6th minute Kip Guidry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but DeAndre Palacios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flint Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Logan Vogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Dolan in the 22nd minute of play forced White Sands's goalkeeper DeAndre Palacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DeAndre Palacios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kip Guidry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Dan Grace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phil Irwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colby Hemphill having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Angola AFC's Dan Grace got a free kick in the 31st minute. White Sands's DeAndre Palacios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flint Blanco in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cary Huerta got free with Colby Hemphill in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes into the game, Angola AFC's Flint Blanco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. DeAndre Palacios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Logan Vogel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jarod Morris hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Laurence Dolan struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. DeAndre Palacios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angola AFC. Kip Guidry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Laurence Dolan could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which DeAndre Palacios however easily saved by the left post. In the 60th minute, Logan Vogel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The White Sands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Cary Huerta fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored White Sands's protests and gave Cary Huerta a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to White Sands getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cary Huerta hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Laurence Dolan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angola AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurence Dolan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. DeAndre Palacios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Winfred Deering fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colby Hemphill having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Dan Grace was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Angola AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave White Sands the free kick. If Phil Irwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of White Sands booed when Angola AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarod Morris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, DeAndre Palacios successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 88 minutes into the match, Kip Guidry notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of White Sands's DeAndre Palacios. DeAndre Palacios was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Flint Blanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angola AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
