After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ricky May managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hancock FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricky May was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fred Reagan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ricky May had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 71 played minutes Excelsior got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Rowe. If Zachary Herndon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Reagan stood somewhat misplaced when Ricky May came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 90 minute. Excelsior's Fred Reagan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Excelsior from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Excelsior's Fred Reagan got control of the ball when Ricky May tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hancock FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
