Spectators: 8016 (Terracing: 6014, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 159) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Graig Hadley made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Graig Hadley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graig Hadley in the 5th minute of play forced White Sands's goalkeeper DeAndre Palacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Graig Hadley in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg DeAndre Palacios saved White Sands from getting behind. After 9 minutes of play, White Sands's Winfred Deering made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dexter Stark was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Graig Hadley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brady Mannings short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got DeAndre Palacios to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Graig Hadley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. DeAndre Palacios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brady Manning came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and DeAndre Palacios could save by the left post. Graig Hadley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. White Sands's DeAndre Palacios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graig Hadley in the 39th minute of play. Hank Theilacker hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in White Sands's zone, Brady Manning stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. DeAndre Palacios came out of the goal and Brady Manning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saks's Brady Manning got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Logan Vogel was the one to do the kick off. DeAndre Palacios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brady Manning in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, Saks's Brady Manning made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. DeAndre Palacios was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Esteban Ziegler fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saks's protests and gave Esteban Ziegler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Saks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Ziegler to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Rafael Crowell in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Saks's Tracy Friend. 64 minutes into the match, White Sands's goal looked a bit too open when Graig Hadley came free, but DeAndre Palacios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Graig Hadley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. DeAndre Palacios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Graig Hadley's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. White Sands's DeAndre Palacios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Ziegler in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Saks's goal looked a bit too open when Logan Vogel came free, but Dexter Stark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Louie Kern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phil Irwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Graig Hadley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. DeAndre Palacios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Graig Hadley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of DeAndre Palacios. White Sands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Graig Hadley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When the referee ended the match the Saks players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
