Jarrett Tolbert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Westbrook having to make a save. Ricky May fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Westbrook having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Monmouth's zone, Ricky May stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Westbrook came out of the goal and Ricky May tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 9 in the game by Ricky May from a close distance when the talented Alex Westbrook managed to make a qualified save. Monmouth's players were relieved. Elijah Brock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trey Burrell struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Alex Westbrook didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hancock FC. 16 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goalkeeper Alex Westbrook had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricky May. In the 21st minute, Jarrett Tolbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Ricky May left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hancock FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Monmouth's Alex Westbrook proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Monmouth from getting a goal against them. After 34 minutes of play, Hancock FC's Ricky May made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Westbrook was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monmouth's goalkeeper Alex Westbrook, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alex Westbrook made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Ricky May sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the game, Werner Vickers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monmouth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hancock FC the free kick. Ricky May's late challenge caught a Monmouth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricky May helped the player get up and apologised. In the 48th match minute, Hancock FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricky May to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricky May stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Hancock FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elijah Brock to maneuver through the defense. Wendell Friend took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alex Westbrook. Monmouth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricky May was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 63rd minute, Alberto Chappelle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricky May scored 4-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Westbrook, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Trey Burrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Westbrook showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky May in the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Monmouth got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Chappelle. 75 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky May came free, but Alex Westbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jarrett Tolbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garret Dodson charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garret Dodson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute, Garret Dodson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute of the match Thad Wong sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Westbrook skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darryl Sinclair during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Monmouth's Darryl Sinclair got a free kick in the 89th minute. 94 minutes into the game, Hancock FC's Ricky May nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Westbrook made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. There was no doubt that Hancock FC were the better team. Hancock FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
