Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5800, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 100) BEST FC's Stanley Gray started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, BEST FC's Vance Byrne threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgardo Bacon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Morgan Houser scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Monte Ledford, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th match minute, Kapiolani FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garrett Rutledge to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Crenshaw hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Bogdan Harbaszewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Vance Byrne made a huge save. 16 minutes into the game, Garrett Rutledge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kapiolani FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BEST FC the free kick. 19 minutes into the match, BEST FC's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Christie came free, but Monte Ledford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bogdan Harbaszewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Vance Byrne made a huge save. Marcos Crenshaw charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Crenshaw the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcos Crenshaw hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Monte Ledford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Christie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Monte Ledford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Downing in the 27th minute of the match. Monte Ledford didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Christie went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of BEST FC booed when Kapiolani FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Crenshaw didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Kapiolani FC's goalkeeper Vance Byrne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogdan Harbaszewski. Vance Byrne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stanley Gray went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Vance Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Reagan in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Kapiolani FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Christie to make the kick off. Oswaldo Graham charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oswaldo Graham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BEST FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Oswaldo Graham hit a great ball. Bob Reagan took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vance Byrne. Vance Byrne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Bacon in the 60th minute of play forced Kapiolani FC's goalkeeper Vance Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vance Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Harbaszewski in the 61st minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Kapiolani FC got a freekick which was hit by Darron Ford. Vance Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Bacon in the 64th minute of the match. Vance Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Reagan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, BEST FC's Stanley Gray nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vance Byrne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Vance Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Harbaszewski in the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Bogdan Harbaszewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Vance Byrne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Monte Ledford came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Kapiolani FC's Orlando Christie. But to his dismay, Orlando Christie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. BEST FC's Monte Ledford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Houser in the 80th minute of play. After 83 minutes of play BEST FC's Oswaldo Graham was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Bob Reagan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Vance Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bogdan Harbaszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Bogdan Harbaszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vance Byrne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vance Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Bacon in the 90th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Marcos Crenshaw notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of BEST FC's Monte Ledford. Monte Ledford was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
