Fair Haven's Manuel Morse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randy Negron in the 4th minute of play. After 6 played minutes REAL OCALA FC got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Stephens. Hal Sparks might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flint Brantley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hal Sparks ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as REAL OCALA FC's Randy Negron slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Manuel Morse. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Don Morse hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 33rd match minute, REAL OCALA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don Morse to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute Chuck Pendleton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flint Brantley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, REAL OCALA FC's Randy Negron dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. If Hal Sparks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chuck Pendleton to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, REAL OCALA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Don Morse to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Meyers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Fair Haven booed when REAL OCALA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Don Morse didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Chuck Pendleton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flint Brantley was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Manuel Morse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Royce Seymour in the 65th minute of play. Dallas Haynes hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. REAL OCALA FC's Corey Lacy was substituted for Randy Negron. The supporters of REAL OCALA FC booed when Fair Haven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chuck Pendleton didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Fair Haven getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Chuck Pendleton hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Fair Haven defense, Corey Lacy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Morse. The Fair Haven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Morse should have stopped the shot. When Oswaldo Poirier fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REAL OCALA FC's protests and gave Oswaldo Poirier a yellow card for diving instead. Oswaldo Poirier kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Royce Seymour made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Morse. Fair Haven's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Corey Lacy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Morse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, REAL OCALA FC's Dallas Haynes got a free kick in the 88th minute. Fair Haven's Hal Sparks got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. REAL OCALA FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
