Hancock FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thad Wong in the 8th minute. A nice corner shot did that Elijah Brock got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vance Byrne quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Alfred Lang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Morgan Houser went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Kapiolani FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Ricky May scored to the left of an out of position Vance Byrne, making the score, 1-1. Kapiolani FC's Vance Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Scott in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Orlando Christie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfred Lang. Hancock FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Christie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 33rdth minute of the game Ricky May who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kapiolani FC's Vance Byrne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vance Byrne was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Jarrett Tolbert capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jarrett Tolbert really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarrett Tolbert in the 38th minute of play forced Kapiolani FC's goalkeeper Vance Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vance Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky May in the 40th minute of the match. Elijah Brock scored 3-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vance Byrne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Jarrett Tolbert notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Kapiolani FC's Vance Byrne. Vance Byrne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricky May to make the kick off. The Kapiolani FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vance Byrne should have stopped the shot. Hancock FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
