Spectators: 7984 (Terracing: 5989, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 159) Arcola Youth Academy's Randall Hinkle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. DeAndre Palacios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Lamb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Winfred Deering had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Phil Irwin got free with Rodrigo Magee in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Arcola Youth Academy's goalkeeper Rodrigo Magee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Phil Irwin. In the 14th minute of the match White Sands got a corner. Arcola Youth Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Phil Irwin ran over to the corner to take the kick. White Sands's Logan Vogel got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Phil Irwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 24 minutes, Winfred Deering managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. White Sands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Winfred Deering was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Phil Irwin got free with Rodrigo Magee in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. From close distance Phil Irwin pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 28 minutes into the game. Rodrigo Magee made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Phil Irwin sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Logan Vogel in the 37th minute of play forced Arcola Youth Academy's goalkeeper Rodrigo Magee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to White Sands getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alberto Fowler hit a great ball. Randall Hinkle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. DeAndre Palacios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Logan Vogel in the 47th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Logan Vogel was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, White Sands's Hank Theilacker got a free kick in the 52nd minute. DeAndre Palacios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Couch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in White Sands's zone, Odell Mixon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. DeAndre Palacios came out of the goal and Odell Mixon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Phil Irwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Oren Rangel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. White Sands's Phil Irwin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Arcola Youth Academy. After 72 minutes White Sands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isidro Couch who took care of the corner kick. Rafael Crowell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Magee read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 77th minute when Logan Vogel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Phil Irwin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Arcola Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrick Walsh came free, but Rodrigo Magee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Randall Hinkle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of DeAndre Palacios. The goal made the score 2-1. Sean Lamb hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Arcola Youth Academy's Rodrigo Magee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phil Irwin in the 96th minute of play. White Sands's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
