Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stanley Gray kicked off to start the match. Caleb Baldwin charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caleb Baldwin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd match minute, BEST FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caleb Baldwin to maneuver through the defense. Terry Spencer kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mike Casey got free with Monte Ledford in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mike Casey in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Monte Ledford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanley Gray in the 16th minute of play forced Excelsior's goalkeeper Fred Reagan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Excelsior's Emmanuel Rowe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Monte Ledford narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Monte Ledford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Herndon, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Tyrone Matson kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 28th match minute, BEST FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joe Dent to maneuver through the defense. Monte Ledford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachary Herndon in the 29th minute of the match. Excelsior's Fred Reagan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Reagan in the 35th minute of play. BEST FC's Monte Ledford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save BEST FC from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Joe Dent ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fred Reagan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, BEST FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Casey came free, but Monte Ledford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Monte Ledford was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Logan Newsome showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mike Casey made a kick off. After a rather tough play, BEST FC's Tyrone Matson got a free kick in the 54th minute. With 56 minutes on the clock, Oswaldo Graham commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Excelsior booed when BEST FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Graham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zachary Herndon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monte Ledford having to interfere. Monte Ledford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Herndon, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Casey in the 72nd minute of play forced BEST FC's goalkeeper Monte Ledford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes BEST FC got a freekick which was hit by Joe Dent. Zachary Herndon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Monte Ledford dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. BEST FC's Monte Ledford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mike Casey in the 93rd minute of play.
