Spectators: 8000 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 160) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Logan Vogel kicked off to start the match. Chuck Pendleton struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. DeAndre Palacios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fair Haven. 5 minutes into the match, Filiberto Looney notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of White Sands's DeAndre Palacios. DeAndre Palacios was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Phil Irwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Manuel Morse made a huge save. In the 18th minute Phil Irwin managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. In the 23rd minute of the match, Phil Irwin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Manuel Morse was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 24 minutes into the game, Eddy Gabriel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fair Haven's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave White Sands the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Fair Haven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddy Gabriel to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Logan Vogel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manuel Morse, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chuck Pendleton in the 31st minute of play forced White Sands's goalkeeper DeAndre Palacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes, Cary Huerta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the White Sands and the Fair Haven players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cary Huerta hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. If Hal Sparks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnnie Joyce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. DeAndre Palacios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to White Sands getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Winfred Deering hit a great ball. Fair Haven's Dirk Miller got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. White Sands's DeAndre Palacios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chuck Pendleton in the 44th minute of play. When Gustavo Cerna fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fair Haven's protests and gave Gustavo Cerna a yellow card for diving instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chuck Pendleton was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes White Sands got a freekick which was hit by Cary Huerta. DeAndre Palacios made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Hal Sparks sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Fair Haven's Ahmed Goins got a free kick in the 58th minute. Logan Vogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Manuel Morse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cyrus Koch's late challenge caught a Fair Haven's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cyrus Koch helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Cyrus Koch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fair Haven's Chuck Pendleton couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 61st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for White Sands. In the 64th match minute, Fair Haven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sol Rushing to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th match minute, Fair Haven was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Cerna to maneuver through the defense. Rodrick Walsh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Morse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Manuel Morse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Logan Vogel's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Manuel Morse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phil Irwin in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute, Alberto Fowler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. White Sands's DeAndre Palacios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save White Sands from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind White Sands's goalkeeper DeAndre Palacios, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 90 played minutes White Sands got a freekick which was hit by Hank Theilacker. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johnnie Joyce in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck DeAndre Palacios prevented the ball from getting in the gole. White Sands succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Fair Haven had controlled the match.
