Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Chuck Pendleton made a precise shot to the right of Alex Westbrook. Monmouth's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Alex Westbrook was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Chuck Pendleton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. Johnnie Joyce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alex Westbrook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Monmouth's Alex Westbrook got control of the ball when Hal Sparks tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Fair Haven getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Eddy Gabriel hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fair Haven's Eddy Gabriel got a free kick in the 25th minute. Alex Westbrook didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Chuck Pendleton took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Westbrook. Alex Westbrook dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Monmouth's Garret Dodson got a free kick in the 41st minute. Fair Haven's Chuck Pendleton couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Monmouth. Ahmed Goins kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michael Crusher was the one to do the kick off. Alex Westbrook showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chuck Pendleton, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Monmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Chuck Pendleton came free, but Alex Westbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnnie Joyce scored 5-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Westbrook, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Fair Haven booed when Monmouth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garret Dodson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hal Sparks kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Alex Westbrook showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Gabriel in the 72nd minute of the match. When Fair Haven's Hal Sparks in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monmouth's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th minute Chuck Pendleton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Westbrook saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Garret Dodson fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monmouth's protests and gave Garret Dodson a yellow card for diving instead. After 83 played minutes Monmouth got a freekick which was hit by Garret Dodson. After a defensive mix-up in Monmouth's zone, Chuck Pendleton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Westbrook came out of the goal and Chuck Pendleton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Westbrook showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chuck Pendleton in the 86th minute of the match. Alex Westbrook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chuck Pendleton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddy Gabriel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fair Haven walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
