Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when A.J. Hoover kicked off to start the match. Levi Levine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Marques in the 7th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Marques in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Levi Levine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th match minute, Flat Rock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Bridges to maneuver through the defense. Wayne Hickey charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wayne Hickey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 13 minutes into the match, Detroit AFC's Young King sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Levi Levine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Levi Levine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rui Marques's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Levi Levine came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Detroit AFC's Rui Marques. But to his dismay, Rui Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mason Messer made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by A.J. Hoover. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jess Coyle during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Rui Marques came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Detroit AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Marques couldn't finish the play. A.J. Hoover charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed A.J. Hoover the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Flat Rock's A.J. Hoover got a free kick in the 37th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Marques made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Flat Rock's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Marques came free, but Levi Levine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.J. Hoover hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 56thth minute of the game Rui Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flat Rock's Levi Levine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When %teams%'s Rui Marques was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-3 just inside the left pole, 61 minutes into the game. Levi Levine was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Rui Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Detroit AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rui Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Levi Levine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, one of Detroit AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Detroit AFC. Detroit AFC:s Jonas Siegel showed great skill when he stopped A.J. Hoover:s penalty. After some careless play in the Detroit AFC defense, A.J. Hoover kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Siegel. The Detroit AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Siegel should have stopped the shot. Rui Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levi Levine having to interfere. Jonas Siegel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wayne Hickey in the 74th minute of the match. Jonas Siegel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from A.J. Hoover, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Flat Rock's Levi Levine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Marques in the 77th minute of play. After 83 played minutes Detroit AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Banning. Detroit AFC's Rui Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Detroit AFC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Salvatore Blankenship hit a great ball. The supporters of Detroit AFC booed when Flat Rock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wayne Hickey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Levi Levine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Marques in the 97th minute of play.
