Boyce Monroe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryce McGowan, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th minute, Porter Hanna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jospeh Carr kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes, US Army's Brad Murdock shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Boyce Monroe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in US Army reached it. In the 12th minute, Octavio Parker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boyce Monroe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When US Army's Bryce McGowan in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Vernon Mattson fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vilseck FC's protests and gave Vernon Mattson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of US Army booed when Vilseck FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vernon Mattson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brad Murdock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Parker in the 29th minute of play forced Vilseck FC's goalkeeper Boyce Monroe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Octavio Parker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boyce Monroe. Vilseck FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octavio Parker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Raul McDonough charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul McDonough the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raul McDonough hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Vilseck FC's Boyce Monroe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Felder in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Parker in the 44th minute of play forced Vilseck FC's goalkeeper Boyce Monroe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aaron Rasmussen was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Andre Felder recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Boyce Monroe. Andre Felder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After 58 minutes of play, US Army's Octavio Parker made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boyce Monroe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octavio Parker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Vilseck FC's goalkeeper Boyce Monroe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bryce McGowan. Boyce Monroe made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Octavio Parker sent off a good shot on target. After 74 played minutes Vilseck FC got a freekick which was hit by Monty Dykes. After a rather tough play, US Army's Kasey Poole got a free kick in the 77th minute. Cristopher McDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, US Army's Boyce Monroe threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andre Felder, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Vilseck FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. US Army were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
