Seating: 1827, VIP seats: 158) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mickey Smith made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Charlotte Amalie FC's Freddy Mata got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Elliot Cormier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiley Hanson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elton Finn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Eusebio Eaton made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Whitney Pearce in the 9th minute of play forced Charlotte Amalie FC's goalkeeper Elliot Cormier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebio Eaton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mickey Smith, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 13 played minutes UD Azucar got a freekick which was hit by Whitney Pearce. After having played for 16 minutes, Elton Finn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charlotte Amalie FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elton Finn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robby Fraser kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Mickey Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Eaton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Alexander Rucker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusebio Eaton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. UD Azucar's Eusebio Eaton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save UD Azucar from getting a goal against them. After 29 minutes of play, UD Azucar's Wiley Hanson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elliot Cormier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eusebio Eaton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mickey Smith, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. UD Azucar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Alexander Rucker scored to the left of an out of position Eusebio Eaton, making the score, 2-2. In the 41st minute, Whitney Pearce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elliot Cormier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiley Hanson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wiley Hanson to make the kick off. Wiley Hanson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elliot Cormier came out and tried to block the shot, but Wiley Hanson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute Dean Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliot Cormier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elliot Cormier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Harvey Layton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 58 minute of play. Eusebio Eaton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elton Finn in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Wiley Hanson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Azucar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Charlotte Amalie FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dean Leal 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-6. Alvin Brock hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Elliot Cormier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dean Leal in the 77th minute of the match. Wiley Hanson's late challenge caught a Charlotte Amalie FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wiley Hanson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th match minute, UD Azucar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiley Hanson to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Eaton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Rucker went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-6 was the resulting score. Whitney Pearce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebio Eaton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mickey Smith in the 95th minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, Charlotte Amalie FC's Elton Finn made it 5-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusebio Eaton was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Charlotte Amalie FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UD Azucar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
