Levi Levine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Quinton Lindsay threw the ball into play from the sideline. Flat Rock's Roosevelt Hensley quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. ZANGEZUR's Lawrence Pack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by A.J. Hoover in the 11th minute of play. DeAngelo Sherrill charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed DeAngelo Sherrill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. DeAngelo Sherrill hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Lawrence Pack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from A.J. Hoover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, A.J. Hoover left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flat Rock fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Levi Levine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Woodrow Cadena in the 26th minute. The supporters of Flat Rock booed when ZANGEZUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. DeAngelo Sherrill didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.J. Hoover recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute A.J. Hoover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrence Pack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.J. Hoover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Woodrow Cadena to make the kick off. Henry Ferris got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by DeAngelo Sherrill. Lawrence Pack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wayne Hickey in the 59th minute of the match. After 60 minutes, DeMarcus Stovall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZANGEZUR and the Flat Rock players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Flat Rock booed when ZANGEZUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. DeMarcus Stovall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hoover was responsible for 0-3 with a brilliant performance in the 83rd minute when he, by himself, got past the opponents defense and with a quick shot sent the ball into the goal to the left of Lawrence Pack. DeMarcus Stovall made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marlin Stout however managed to control. Levi Levine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Woodrow Cadena, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 95th match minute, Flat Rock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by A.J. Hoover to maneuver through the defense. 98 minutes into the match, Vicente Bassett notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Flat Rock's Levi Levine. Levi Levine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Flat Rock's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
