Seating: 1869, VIP seats: 161) US Army's Bryce McGowan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Mickey Smith's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brant Benson was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 8th match minute, Charlotte Amalie FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elton Finn to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Charlotte Amalie FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jasper Carlos hit a great ball. Bryce McGowan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Elliot Cormier made a huge save. Elliot Cormier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Titus in the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Octavio Parker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Elliot Cormier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elliot Cormier made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Bryce McGowan sent off a good shot on target. Bryce McGowan didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 4-0 via right post in the game's 35th minute. US Army's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! If Marshall Titus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elliot Cormier came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by US Army's Marshall Titus. But to his dismay, Marshall Titus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
After 51 played minutes US Army got a freekick which was hit by Kasey Poole. Elliot Cormier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marshall Titus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Parker in the 55th minute of play forced Charlotte Amalie FC's goalkeeper Elliot Cormier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Pineda made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Charlotte Amalie FC's Matt Brennan. Bryce McGowan took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elliot Cormier. Elliot Cormier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 64th minute, Bryce McGowan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elliot Cormier was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 67 minutes into the match, Charlotte Amalie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Parker came free, but Elliot Cormier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When US Army's Bryce McGowan in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Charlotte Amalie FC's goalie prevented a goal. 75 minutes into the match, Brad Murdock notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Charlotte Amalie FC's Elliot Cormier. Elliot Cormier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bryce McGowan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Octavio Parker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliot Cormier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Charlotte Amalie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brad Murdock came free, but Elliot Cormier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Bryce McGowan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elliot Cormier. Charlotte Amalie FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bryce McGowan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Christian Durham charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Durham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Charlotte Amalie FC's Jasper Carlos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jasper Carlos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Charlotte Amalie FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jasper Carlos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Charlotte Amalie FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of US Army:s goal.
