Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brady Flynn got the match started through his kick off. When Nene Fc's Nick Corbin in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flat Rock's goalie prevented a goal. Levi Levine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brady Flynn in the 8th minute of play. Von Woodson made an important save on a dangerous shot by A.J. Hoover in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when A.J. Hoover got free with Von Woodson in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Nene Fc's goalkeeper Von Woodson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wayne Hickey. A.J. Hoover scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Von Woodson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nick Corbin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Levi Levine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Flat Rock got a freekick which was hit by Mason Messer. Nene Fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Wayne Hickey scored to the left of an out of position Von Woodson, making the score, 2-0. After 38 minutes, Jarrett Whittaker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flat Rock and the Nene Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nene Fc booed when Flat Rock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarrett Whittaker didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Brady Flynn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nene Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brady Flynn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brady Flynn might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Levi Levine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brady Flynn ran back to his position shaking his head. Nick Corbin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Brady Flynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roosevelt Hensley kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nick Corbin got free with Levi Levine in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mason Messer hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes in the game, Nick Corbin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Levi Levine having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Flat Rock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mason Messer to maneuver through the defense. Brady Flynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levi Levine having to interfere. Brady Flynn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Nene Fc's Bryce Grace got a free kick in the 85th minute. Nick Corbin hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Robin Lyons shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Von Woodson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Von Woodson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from A.J. Hoover, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Nick Corbin might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Levi Levine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nick Corbin ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nene Fc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flat Rock.
