Spectators: 7655 (Terracing: 6055, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rui Marques kicked off to start the match. Henry Ferris hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Marlin Stout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ZANGEZUR's Lawrence Pack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Young King in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Woodrow Cadena could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Jonas Siegel however easily saved by the left post. When Detroit AFC's Salvador Spicer in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ZANGEZUR's goalie prevented a goal. 18 minutes into the match, ZANGEZUR's goal looked a bit too open when Young King came free, but Lawrence Pack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lawrence Pack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stevie Peterson in the 30th minute of the match. With his leg Jonas Siegel managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when ZANGEZUR's Woodrow Cadena fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lawrence Pack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Young King in the 39th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Marlin Stout was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZANGEZUR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Detroit AFC the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Rui Marques made a precise shot to the right of Lawrence Pack. ZANGEZUR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

In the 69th minute Young King shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lawrence Pack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Stefan Samuels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ZANGEZUR made a substitution. Sonny McKay replaced DeAngelo Sherrill. Stefan Samuels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Siegel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Woodrow Cadena in the 79th minute of play. When Vicente Bassett came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the ZANGEZUR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Bassett couldn't finish the play. Young King received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Lawrence Pack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, ZANGEZUR's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Marques came free, but Lawrence Pack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Detroit AFC's Rui Marques slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lawrence Pack. That made the score 1-2 after 86 minutes of play. The Detroit AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
