After a rather tough play, Palos Verdes Estates's Errol Benoit got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Myles Chase in the 3rd minute of play forced Palos Verdes Estates's goalkeeper Tyler Drummond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Meredith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7 minutes, Sandy Warren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palos Verdes Estates and the Saranda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Palos Verdes Estates's Sandy Warren got a free kick in the 7th minute. Vaughn Rushing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Barbour having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Palos Verdes Estates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zack Bentley to maneuver through the defense. In the 16thth minute of the game Zack Bentley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saranda's Jack Barbour was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th match minute, Palos Verdes Estates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zack Bentley to maneuver through the defense. Saranda's Dario Meredith got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Saranda's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonzo Hudson came free, but Jack Barbour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kasey Amos charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kasey Amos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Palos Verdes Estates getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Kasey Amos hit a great ball. Walter Goss hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Xavier Tatum succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 39th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Palos Verdes Estates's zone, Thanh Mayberry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tyler Drummond came out of the goal and Thanh Mayberry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Palos Verdes Estates's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dario Meredith fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Dario Meredith had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Myles Chase recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Palos Verdes Estates's Tyler Drummond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Meredith in the 54th minute of play. Palos Verdes Estates's Tyler Drummond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Meredith in the 61st minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 66th minute when Zack Bentley elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 71 minutes, Xavier Tatum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saranda and the Palos Verdes Estates players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Palos Verdes Estates booed when Saranda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Tatum didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerome Wilkins hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Vaughn Rushing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Palos Verdes Estates's goal looked a bit too open when Myles Chase came free, but Tyler Drummond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes Palos Verdes Estates got a freekick which was hit by Errol Benoit. Myles Chase blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tyler Drummond having to make a save. When Sandy Warren was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. Sandy Warren hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Walter Goss was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tyler Drummond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Meredith in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Palos Verdes Estates's goal looked a bit too open when Myles Chase came free, but Tyler Drummond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute Myles Chase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyler Drummond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
