Jonas Caballero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuan LeBlanc in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasey Bernier in the 10th minute of play forced Las Vegas Futbol Club's goalkeeper Jonas Caballero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Kasey Bernier made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Caballero. Las Vegas Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Las Vegas Futbol Club getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Jeffrey Hollandsworth hit a great ball. Jonas Caballero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Thomson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Tuan LeBlanc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Caballero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Napoleon Hill fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Las Vegas Futbol Club's protests and gave Napoleon Hill a yellow card for diving instead. Napoleon Hill kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Tuan LeBlanc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Caballero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tuan LeBlanc in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Caballero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Dyer FC fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Dyer FC's Tuan LeBlanc looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Curt Lay made the kick off in the second half. Elvis Seymour made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dallas Holbrook in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, Las Vegas Futbol Club's Jeffrey Hollandsworth made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elvis Seymour was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee felt a red card was in order, 61 minutes into the game, when Karl Blair put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Las Vegas Futbol Club getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Karl Blair hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Dana Dwyer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Scottie Shearer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonas Caballero. The goal made the score 3-3. Jonas Caballero made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Virgil Thomson sent off a good shot on target. Jonas Caballero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasey Bernier in the 74th minute of the match. Curt Lay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Elvis Seymour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elvis Seymour didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeffrey Hollandsworth went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Colby Gold took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonas Caballero. Las Vegas Futbol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Matthew Mercer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Las Vegas Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dyer FC the free kick. After 82 played minutes Las Vegas Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Mercer. A hard shot by Colby Gold from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Jonas Caballero's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 87 minutes of play, Dyer FC's Scottie Shearer made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Caballero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonas Caballero made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Virgil Thomson sent off a good shot on target. Elvis Seymour came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Las Vegas Futbol Club's Curt Lay. But to his dismay, Curt Lay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. Dyer FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Las Vegas Futbol Club had won, even though Dyer FC had held more of the ball.
