Anson Storey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domenic Biggs's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Neal Field charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neal Field the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, bernd FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neal Field to maneuver through the defense. Jay Seals was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Los Gordos's Domenic Biggs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anson Storey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Domenic Biggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Neal Field hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Domenic Biggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anson Storey having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Domenic Biggs dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anson Storey, 0-2. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind bernd FC's goalkeeper Anson Storey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenic Biggs in the 70th minute of play forced bernd FC's goalkeeper Anson Storey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 71st minute of the match William Lowry completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave William Lowry a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After having played for 97 minutes, Jay Seals managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Gordos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jay Seals was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The bernd FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Gordos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
